Start A Tab is a long-form series focused on unique approaches to brewing, distilling, and more in the Southern AZ region. With an initial plan of 7-8 episodes for Season 1, we’ve begun production on the first few episodes featuring Whiskey Del Bac, Brille Mead Co., and Ray Ray’s Sonoran Spirit Tea.

Start A Tab will include a sit down interview with owners, brewers, distillers and more; as well as a direct behind-the-scenes look at the different processes.

The goal is to showcase some truly unique drinks or processes that exist here with an emphasis on incorporating Southern AZ and Sonoran Desert ingredients. For example: Whiskey Del Bac utilizes Mesquite wood burning practices in the process of distilling their whiskey. Brille Mead Co. mixes traditional Ethiopian T’ej with ingredients of the Sonoran Desert.
